As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior, and report observations to appropriate store representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor and vendor interactions, and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Part-time position. Shifts: Saturday 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Sunday 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
