Security Officer Part Time Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Yonkers, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in residential industries. You will manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will assist residents and visitors with professionalism while communicating concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff while following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and authorize entry for residents, visitors, vendors, and/or service personnel in accordance with location procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, delivery, and incident logs and promptly report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
