Security Officer Part Time Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location in Palm Coast, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the store, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Daytime
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
