Security Officer Part Time Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Use your customer service and communication skills to assist employees and visitors, support badge and access control processes, and document activities using a computer or tablet. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production or distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related activity reports.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and policy violations by maintaining a professional presence and promptly reporting unusual activity.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
