Security Officer Part Time Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, vehicle entrances, employee parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals and vehicles entering restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately in daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
