Security Officer Part Time Overnight Corporate Patrol

About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge processes, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while responding to security-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and other designated locations.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$21.05 - $22.05 / Hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
