Security Officer Part Time - Overnight

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel or resort location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, guest amenity areas, hallways, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and restricted spaces, assisting with visitor directions, policy awareness, and access control practices consistent with site expectations.
• Support hotel or resort operations during high-traffic periods, special events, and/or after-hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and communicating professionally with guests, staff, and first responders when needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
