Security Officer Part Time Morning Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This role offers the chance to support patients, visitors, and staff while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in a people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces to help control access, provide directions, and support an orderly environment for daily operations.
- Assist with security-related calls for service, visitor interactions, and/or incident follow-up while maintaining professionalism and clear communication with staff and the public.
Requirements
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
