Security Officer Part Time Morning Patrol Driver

About the role

Award-winning security and facility services company Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in New Bern, NC. This position involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, supporting security operations, and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain a vigilant presence at entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or visitor information, and supporting authorized access for personnel, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with location procedures.
• Monitor facility operations and report hazards, maintenance issues, policy violations, and suspicious behavior that could impact employees, property, or ongoing business activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent education.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.

Pay

$14.25 per hour.
