Security Officer Part Time Morning Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer Part Time X Ray Screening Driver in Garner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This part-time position offers flexibility with the ability to build a schedule that works for you and explore additional roles through the Claim a Shift platform. At a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and assist with visitor management.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-Ray Screening Experience – preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience – preferred.
• Customer Service Experience – preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay

$18.36 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time, daytime shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
