Security Officer - Part Time Morning Patrol

How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support badge, key, and/or entry procedures in line with location protocols.
• Aid in reviewing alarms, checking doors and gates, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or life-related hazards that could impact the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
