What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support the control of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures for an industrial environment.
• Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, operational concerns, and daily activity, while completing required logs and reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
