Security Officer Part Time Mobile Driver

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Retail/Malls, you will also be responsible for providing customer service, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and communicating with relevant parties.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and/or merchandise-sensitive locations, while assisting with crowd management, store closing procedures, and other routine security-related tasks.
• Communicate with local site contacts, customers, and/or emergency personnel as needed regarding incidents, hazards, policy concerns, and other location-specific issues.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
