Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with traffic flow, visitor directions, and other customer service needs while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
