Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate departments while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
