Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, and promptly report observations through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Assist with access control, customer and employee inquiries, and documentation of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
