Security Officer Part Time Licensed Driver Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer Licensed Driver Patrol in Bowie, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication in a retail and mall environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions, and other security-related support while maintaining accurate activity and incident documentation.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$16.50 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
