Security Officer Part Time Licensed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Part-Time Licensed Patrol Driver Security Officer in Gibbstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, restricted-area access concerns, and potential hazards, then report observations through established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay

$18.63 per hour.

Schedule

• Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
