What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial office building, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with building policies; provide directions and assist with access-related questions as needed.
- Prepare accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol findings, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
