Security Officer Part Time Foot Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. You will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests, employees, and visitors. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
