Security Officer Part Time Evening Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and government personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor records, and help control entry and exit at the location.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant security‑related information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access‑control and badge experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Daytime: Saturday 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Sunday 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
