- Day: Wednesday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
- Friday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
- Sunday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Pay
$18.50 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor entry points, verify identification and credentials, process visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Support compliance with controlled-area procedures, including directing visitors and contractors to appropriate locations and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
