Security Officer Part Time Entry Control

About the role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part‑Time Security Officer – Entry Control in Mountville, PA. The role involves managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers at a logistics and distribution location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for access to restricted areas; issue visitor badges and maintain accurate access records.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and loading area access to help deter unauthorized entry and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas while documenting security‑related observations and incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.61 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts on Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Sundays from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
