Security Officer Part Time Driver Visitor Authorization

About the role

As an Access Control Security Officer in a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting residents and visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while helping to deter incidents. This is a driving post.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, issue access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property management, and emergency responders regarding security-related matters and access requests.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
