About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This driving post involves managing access to a fast-paced fashion logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, documenting incidents, and supporting orderly vehicle and pedestrian flow. You may conduct patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access by verifying employee, visitor, vendor, and driver credentials and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, maintain accurate access logs, and report access-related irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to Allied Universal and site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$24.00 / Hour

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
