About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Driver Entry Authorization in Cordova, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access to operational areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
