Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
