Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points and verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, access-related activities, and other security-related information accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.63 / hour

- Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
