Security Officer Part-Time Driver

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Financial Institutions, you will be part of a team contributing to positive community impacts. This role involves driving to support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with access control procedures for staff, guests, and/or deliveries.
• Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with site contacts and public responders when needed, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
