Security Officer Part Time Door Control

About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document incidents, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor entries, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, support delivery and shipment access procedures, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, parking locations, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.75 / hour

• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
