As a Security Officer Part Time DoD Clearance Required Patrol Driver in Liverpool, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and primarily drive assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position details

• Position type: Part Time
• Pay rate: $23.49 per hour
• Schedule: Wednesday 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM; Thursday 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, maintain required logs, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
