Security Officer Part Time Clearance Required Patrol Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business information.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Pay Rate: $23.49 / Hour
