As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use communication and computer skills to support daily operations while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized deliveries, maintaining clear and accurate activity and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations, incidents, and changing site conditions.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred skills

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Schedule: Day Time - Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
