Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, and document guest, contractor, and/or delivery access in accordance with property guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
- Assist with resident inquiries, observe camera and alarm activity when assigned, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent presence and attention to access control procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
