Pay Rate
$18.75 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize visitor access, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with post orders and security-related policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access issues, and potential hazards related to restricted areas.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and guests, and helping to uphold controlled access requirements throughout the site.
Minimum Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
