Security Officer Part Time Badge Verification

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology location in Denver, CO, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a corporate technology office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, building perimeters, parking facilities, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site policies, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Loss prevention experience.

Pay

$21.28 / hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 05:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Wednesday: 05:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Thursday: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
