About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer in Lawrenceburg, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, and support badge access procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while helping maintain a secure, welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and policy violations, and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
