Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access to the residential property, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious or unauthorized activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
