Security Officer Part Time Asset Protection

About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, access points, business areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate activity logs in accordance with site requirements.
- Assist with reporting security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

$17.51 / Hour

- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
