About the role
As a Part-Time Armed Patrol Emergency Response Security Officer in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism while supporting a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Armed guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$32.50 / hour

- Thursday: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
- Friday: 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM
