As a Part‑Time Armed Patrol Response Security Officer in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare, enjoy flexibility to build a schedule that works for you, and can explore additional shifts using the Claim a Shift platform. In a healthcare setting you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security‑related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication, joining a caring, agile team guided by integrity, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns accurately and promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Minimum age of 21 years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Submission to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
