Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Maintain a professional presence while handling security-related concerns, preparing incident reports, and following post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and applicable armed post procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
