Security Officer Part Time Alarm Panel Patrol

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and facility concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment.
Requirements
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A drug screen to the extent permitted by law and licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
Pay
Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour
Schedule
DayTime: Tue 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM, Wed 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM, Fri 07:00 AM - 11:00 AM
This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed-shift, with the option to pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.
