Security Officer Part Time Alarm Panel Patrol

This role is based in Taylorsville, MS, and includes a fixed‑shift commitment (“anchor shifts”) for a six‑month period, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the “Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift” program.

$14.00 per hour

• Monday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Tuesday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
• Sunday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the industrial facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clear, accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security‑related activities.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen required, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
