Security Officer Part Time Alarm Panel Operator

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Officer, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor alarm panels, and support a professional, secure environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet-based systems, you will help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access to the location, greet visitors, and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident records, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.50 / Hour

• Fri 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM
