Part Time Security Officer

About the role

This entry-level position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. Security Officers preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Requirements

• MVR and CPR certification required
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Qualifications

• No experience necessary — retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a great fit
• Training will be provided for introduction to a career in the security industry
