Part Time Security Officer

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer to build meaningful connections and provide exceptional customer service in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

About the role

This position focuses on customer service while ensuring the safety and protection of individuals and property. You will engage with visitors, manage access control, perform patrols, and respond to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service duties, including welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control for the site
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficiency in basic phone and computer skills
• State security license, if required

Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $24.04. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Schedule

Set schedule: Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
