As a Dispatch Security Professional at a public transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support timely responses to security-related needs. You will provide outstanding customer service, maintain clear communication with personnel and visitors, and help promote a welcoming environment.

- Day Time: Wednesday 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Thursday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and transit partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch calls for service, incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance using communication systems and established protocols.
- Monitor cameras, access control systems, radio traffic, and other security-related technology; maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents, dispatch activity, and notifications.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communication with on-site personnel, emergency responders, and appropriate stakeholders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
