Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide clear, professional communication to help maintain a secure environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific access-control procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and control access to restricted areas.
• Screen and document inbound and outbound vehicle activity, coordinate with receiving and shipping personnel, and report access irregularities or unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, dock doors, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
