As an Access Control Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and site-specific policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor access in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control records, issue and collect visitor badges and access materials, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
